Introduction
Almost everyone takes photos when they travel, but few feel confident doing it, and most pictures end up forgotten on a phone. Cameralla, founded by Norwegian photographer Jørn Allan Pedersen, changes that. It combines a photography community, hands-on learning and AI feedback into one platform, and offers it to travel and brand partners as their own guest experience.
How it works?
Members learn through the Cameralla method, a practical five-step approach with courses and destination photo guides, then share their images in clubs and compete in photo battles. Partners such as Hurtigruten use the platform to engage guests before, during and after their journey, with guides, courses and shared galleries tied to the trip.
Why we funded?
Travel brands want deeper relationships with their guests, and photography is one of the most personal parts of any journey. Cameralla turns that into a platform partners can offer under their own brand, from Hurtigruten's voyages along the Norwegian coast to Druk Asia's travel programmes in Bhutan. It's developed with OVC Studio, where we build companies hands-on together with founders.
