Introduction
For many dogs, a harness is worn for hours every day, whether on long hikes, in sport or on duty. Yet most harnesses are made in a few standard shapes that don't fit real dogs, and a poor fit restricts movement and causes discomfort. Canion, founded by Anne Sørensen in Troms, Northern Norway, sets out to change that.
How it works?
Canion designs ergonomic harnesses built around how dogs actually move. The fit follows the dog's anatomy, leaving shoulders and chest free, so the harness stays comfortable and secure whether the dog is walking, running or working. The range extends from everyday active dogs to demanding outdoor and working use.
Tested where conditions are tough
Canion's gear is developed in Northern Norway, above the Arctic Circle, where dogs and their owners depend on equipment that works in snow, wind and rough terrain. If it holds up there, it holds up anywhere.
Why we funded?
Dog owners are spending more on their dogs than ever, and they increasingly look for quality, specialised gear rather than generic products. Canion combines a founder with deep hands-on knowledge of dogs with the ambition to become the leading provider of K9 performance gear, and it's building a premium brand from a unique Norwegian origin.
