Introduction
What happens on Earth can increasingly be seen from space: ships at sea, changes to critical infrastructure, movements on the ground. For governments and institutions, seeing it clearly and in time is becoming essential, and Europe needs its own eyes in orbit to do so. Marble Imaging is building them.
How it works?
Marble is developing its own constellation of Earth-observation satellites that capture the planet in very high resolution. Its imagery lets users identify individual objects such as ships, vehicles and infrastructure, and its analytics turn those images into information decision-makers can act on.
Why we funded?
Europe is investing heavily in its own space and security capabilities, and high-resolution optical data is one of the areas where it still depends most on others. Marble addresses that need with its own satellites, a strong position in the German market, and a clear focus on institutional customers who value sovereign data. It's one of the strongest companies in the OVC portfolio.
