Introduction
Drones have changed the nature of threats: they are cheap, fast and increasingly autonomous. Detecting and stopping them demands systems that can see and decide in milliseconds, often far from any power source or data centre. Neurobus, founded in France by Florian Corgnou and Dr. Nicolas Bourdis, builds the AI that makes this possible.
How it works?
How it works?
Neurobus uses neuromorphic computing, which processes information the way the human brain does. Instead of analysing every frame of a video stream, its systems react only to what changes in the scene. The result is real-time detection and response at a fraction of the energy of conventional AI, small and efficient enough to run on board drones, vehicles and other platforms at the edge.
Why we funded?
Counter-drone capability has become one of Europe's most urgent security needs, and energy efficiency is what decides whether AI can work in the field. Neurobus combines a deep-tech founding team with a technology that addresses both, and with early commercial traction from demanding institutional customers. It's also a European answer to a European challenge: sovereign technology, developed and deployed in Europe.
